HIMACHAL ADVENTURES

Upon arrival into Amritsar. You will be met by your Earnest Educational Tour Director who will assist you to your coach. We will proceed towards hotel for check in and Lunch. Later visit Jalianwala Bagh Memorial to visit the site where British massacred innocent men, women and children who were gathered to listen to non violent protesters raising their voice against British Raj and listeners were mainly Baisakhi Pilgrims, thereon move towards Wagah Border to see the “Beating Retreat” ceremony, also referred to as Closing of Gates ceremony. Later in the evening, we will visit the “Golden Temple” also called “AKAAL TAKHT” the ultimate seat of power in Sikh Religion. Return back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will board our coach for our scenic drive to Dharamshala. Lunch will be en-route. Upon arrival at Dharamshala, we will check into the hotel and spend the evening visiting the Tsuglagkhang complex and the local market. You will be introduced to your trek instructor before dinner who would be briefing you about the trek you are going to undertake , general do’s and don’ts and what you would need on this over night trek. Early dinner and time for packing before you retire for the night at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, and small back pack we set forth our foot on the short and scenic walk through mixed forest of deodar, oak and Rhondodendron. Triund is situated on a ridge with a beautiful view of whole Kangara valley on one side and Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. After lunch at Triund, with the help of your trek guides you will pitch your tents and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will hike up to the Snow Line and descend back by the evening into the camp in time for the bon fire. Your Trek guides will share with you few of the interesting stories before you retire for the night.
After an early camp breakfast, we will start our short descend from Triund traverse ridge, through the Kangara valley into Mcleodganj. At Mcleodganj, we will halt for refreshments and snacks. We will visit Bagsu waterfall, Bagsu lake and spend some time visiting Forsyth Ganj village. Later we will board our coaches for our onward scenic drive to Khajjiar. Lunch at a local restaurant enroute. Upon arrival into Khajjiar, we will check into the resort and rest of the evening free for leisure stroll around the local markets. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, we will depart for Chamera Lake for our water adventures. At Chamera, we will indulge in boating, rowing, angling, canoeing, kayaking and sailing. Lunch by the lakeside. After lunch, we will visit the Chamera Dam and the Bhalei temple. Later in the evening, we will board the coach for our return to Khajjiar, followed by some time at the local market, Dinner and overnight at the resort.
After breakfast, we will spend the day hiking to the 12th Century temple of Khajji Nag and indulge ourselves in air adventures like - paragliding. lunch, and board our coaches to our onward journey towards Amritsar. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Gala dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, we will board our coach for our return journey to the airport for our onward flight home.

  • In case school is not able to provide the minimum number of paid students on the Trip, Earnest Education Tours reserve the right to combine it with other schools which are traveling on same trip around the same time with their consent.

This information is primarily for parents: All our tours are teacher led. If you’re interested in sending your child a tour, please send us the contact information of the concerned teacher in his/her school. We will contact the school authorities and pursue it further. Once the school approves the tour, students can register for the tour.


Registration and Documentation: You need to fill in the registration form provided and submit the necessary documents (which will be informed to you) along with the registration fees.


Manage Deadlines: Earnest Educational Tours makes all the arrangements for your tour months in advance. It is important for you to adhere to all the payment deadlines provided to you to ensure that your child's reservation is secure.


Get Prepared For The Tour: You will receive a detailed itinerary, details of hotels and a copy of your ticket from us. Students should spend some time on preparation work. Your child should read up about the places they are about to visit.
